About Desi mango pulp
Desi (native) mangoes are the traditional seedling mangoes of Pakistan's villages and orchards. They are smaller than grafted varieties but carry a strong, true-mango aroma and a lively balance of sweetness and tang.
That intensity is why food manufacturers value Desi pulp. A little goes a long way in juices, drinks, candies and sauces, and it pairs well with sweeter pulps such as Chaunsa and Sindhri.
Desi pulp is refined to remove fibre, giving a smooth, pourable pulp that keeps the bold flavour of the fruit.
